Website Privacy Notice

01

Scope and principles

This notice covers visits to the Suvia website, language switching, and submission or withdrawal of a macOS beta application. The desktop app, accounts, and activation services are covered by the Suvia Product Privacy Policy.

We use data for clear purposes, collect only what is necessary, retain it for the shortest appropriate period, and explain our practices openly. We do not sell personal information or build advertising profiles from website visits.

Beta application processing is primarily based on the consent you give before submission and processing needed to act on your request for beta contact. Basic network and security logs are processed as needed to meet cybersecurity duties and secure the service. Other no-consent grounds apply only where law permits.

02

When you visit the website

The initial website has no login, payment, or download flow and includes no third-party analytics, advertising pixels, social trackers, or marketing cookies. Its page code does not create a cross-site profile.

Hosting and security providers may process basic request data—such as IP address, request time, path, browser or device type, and response status—to deliver the site, diagnose faults, prevent abuse, and audit security. It is deleted or anonymized after the shortest period needed under the operator's and provider's settings.

03

When you apply for the beta

We process application information only after you submit the form. Your WeChat ID is used for invitation contact; use cases and the optional note help us evaluate beta fit; locale, eligibility confirmation, and consent status complete the application record.

Required
WeChat ID, at least one use case, Apple silicon and macOS 15+ confirmation, and privacy consent
Optional
An additional note of up to 500 characters
Generated
Application ID, page locale, created and updated times, 180-day expiry, and withdrawal-token digest
Security
Encrypted WeChat ID, irreversible duplicate-detection digest, and IP-based rate-limit counters
04

Purposes and limits

Application data is used only to detect duplicates, screen Suvia macOS beta participants, send invitations, coordinate testing, process withdrawal, and protect the form against automated abuse. It is not used for unrelated marketing or supplied to data brokers or advertising platforms.

Application status is limited to pending, invited, or closed. It records workflow progress and is not an automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects.

05

Retention and withdrawal

A beta application is retained for no more than 180 days from creation and is then purged. You may use the one-time withdrawal credential shown after submission to hard-delete it earlier; its contents will no longer remain in the business database.

If the credential is lost, contact us using the privacy address below. We may request the minimum information needed to verify ownership. Security and audit logs are retained only as long as necessary to meet security obligations.

06

Storage and safeguards

WeChat IDs are encrypted with a dedicated production key and deduplicated using an irreversible digest. Neither is reused for JWTs, activation codes, or account peppers. Admin lists mask the WeChat ID by default; a separate request is required to reveal it, and that action is audited.

We use access control, least privilege, encryption in transit, rate limiting, and an invisible honeypot to reduce disclosure and automated abuse risks. No network service can guarantee absolute security; if an incident may affect your rights, we will take remedial and notification steps as required by law.

07

Processors, sharing, and transfers

Cloud hosting, database, network-security, and operations providers may process data needed to run the website. Contracts, permissions, and security requirements restrict their purpose and scope. Provider details will be made available when the production infrastructure is finalized.

We do not share application data with independent third parties unless you separately consent, law requires it, vital lawful interests must be protected, or a competent authority lawfully requests it. The first website release does not intentionally transfer beta application data outside mainland China.

08

Your rights

You may ask to be informed, access, copy, correct, supplement, or delete your information, withdraw consent, or request an explanation of this notice. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully performed before it. We normally respond within 15 business days after necessary identity verification unless law provides otherwise.

If you believe your rights have been infringed, contact us first or complain to the competent personal-information protection authority.

09

Children

The Suvia beta is intended for people able to act independently and is not directed to children under 14. If we learn that we processed a child's information without guardian consent, we will delete it promptly.

10

Updates and contact

If fields, purposes, providers, or your rights change materially, we will update the date on this page and use a prominent notice or renewed consent when required. Previous versions can be requested through the privacy contact below.
